Dave Arthurs of OpenCity Joins Executive Team
Alexandria, VA – Fishbowl Inc., the leading provider of marketing and analytics solutions for the restaurant industry, has named Dave Arthurs as its new Chief Technology Officer (CTO). In this role, Dave will uphold Fishbowl’s mission of helping restaurants realize the value of every guest.
“Dave brings a 20-year legacy of service in the restaurant and hospitality tech space. He has a long history of expanding and modernizing engineering teams and products,” says Fishbowl CEO Mike Dodson. “Dave is known as a customer’s CTO. An executive with a proven track record of improving development processes in hospitality technology, Dave will be charged with leading Fishbowl’s Product Development – developing Fishbowl’s procedures to enhance their customers’ experience using their innovative products and services – and will play a significant role in the company’s future.
In 2002, Dave co-founded GuestBridge, a restaurant CRM and revenue management company which grew into a formidable competitor to OpenTable. OpenTable ultimately acquired GuestBridge. After the acquisition, Dave led OpenTable’s restaurant product suite development teams.
